Switzerland and Germany
Egg donation is currently not permitted in Switzerland or Germany. Political proposals to change this exist in both countries, but they are not law.
Austria
Austria permits egg donation under conditions set by its Reproductive Medicine Act, including limits on the ages of donor and recipient.
Czechia
Czechia permits egg donation under its Specific Health Services Act, with anonymous donors and conditions on age. It is a common destination for patients from neighbouring countries.
